This Phaistos disc earrings are perfect for everyday-wear. light weight and subtle, but still a high waw factor! The disk of Phaistos is found in the Minoan city of Phaistos in the Island of Crete.
It is known to present an alphabet close to Linear B and it is one of the very first attempts of typography. Although it's said they discovered the word mother and/or goddess in it, it still remains a mystery and there's not a true translation by scientists.
Now it's used as a good luck and protection symbol for the one who wears it.The earrings are gold plated brass and nickel free.
They measure 3 cm long (1,3 inch)
